If you are a new Nokia user then you may know that it includes an IPSEC VPN client. This client however is not user friendly and unfortunately requires a special Nokia server and is hard to setup.

The good news is that you can use VPN through the new and only PPTP client on the market called SymVPN. It is compatible with most S60 (3rd edition) devices based on Symbian OS 9.1 such as Nokia E-Series: E51, E60, E61, E61i, E63, E65, E66, E70, E71, E90, and N-series.

Once you have purchased the software, simply install it on your mobile phone and then enter the VPN account details of your provider. Currently SymVPN is the only way to use PPTP VPN on Nokia phones and has been tested successfully with Liberty VPN.
